This is a wonderful learning opportunity that is not to be missed!! Since it has been a few years since Young Choe's last demo and workshops at the Bonsai Society of Portland, we have invited her out to Oregon this Spring to share her knowledge about everything kusamono! Tell your friends, treat yourself to a fun-filled day of everything kusamono.


What is kusamono 草物 ? In Japanese, 'kusa' means grass, and 'mono' is thing: "Grassy Thing 草物". If you are looking to create your very own 'shita kusa' 下草 to accompany your bonsai tree as an accent plant, or you simply love the concept of kusamono, Young Choe's infectious passion for kusamono is the perfect place to start.


Throw out traditional bonsai pot pairing conventions, and bring your creativity to the table with any container you'd like to make kusamono in! Young…
